A K-12 school in Monroe, NC is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide comprehensive speech and language services. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to work closely with students across all grade levels to support their communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports per school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team discussions
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC credential
- Experience working in school settings, preferably K-12
- Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders common among children and adolescents
