A Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized services within a K-12 educational setting located in Richmond, VA. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders to support their academic and social development throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
- Document services and maintain accurate student records in compliance with school policies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or certification to practice as an SLP in a school setting
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational environments
