School Psychologist Job Duties

Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to support student learning and behavior

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention and support plans

Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations

Deliver counseling and behavioral support services as needed

Maintain compliance with all state and federal education regulations
Federal and State Requirements

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

Active Michigan School Psychologist Certification required

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and FERPA regulations

Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills

Prior school-based experience preferred
