Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the 20252026 academic year inSt. Louis County.This school-based position involves working with students across K12 grade levels, providing therapy services to support their educational success. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students develop the skills necessary for academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
- Provide training and resources to school staff and families to support students' occupational therapy needs.
Qualifications: - Valid MO Occupational Therapy license.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
Contract Details: - Full-time contract 35 hours per week.
