Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Provide direct therapy and consultation services to students and staff

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services
Federal and State Requirements

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology License required

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
