Hybrid School Psychologist Job Duties

Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments both in-person and virtually

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)

Support students academic, behavioral, and emotional development

Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings

Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation as needed

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
Federal and State Requirements

Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

Current Texas licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (LSSP) required

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and other applicable education laws

Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by Texas school districts
