Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for elementary students

Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to support student progress

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance communication development

Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
Federal and State Requirements

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

Active California Speech-Language Pathology License required

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
