Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve a K-12 school district in Estancia, NM. This contract position covers the current school year and offers the chance to work closely with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a COTA, you will support the district OT by providing services primarily on the east side of the district, working directly with students in various schools.
- As an OT, you will function in an itinerant role, delivering occupational therapy services across multiple sites throughout the district.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement therapy plans tailored to students individual needs.
Qualifications:
- Licensed or certified COTA or OT with current credentials.
- Must have all licensing documentation fully completed and on hand prior to interview; pending credentials will not be accepted.
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably across different grade levels.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
