Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Position Overview
Two full-time Occupational Therapists are needed for onsite school-based assignments in the Sebring, FL area for the 20252026 school year. These roles support students requiring fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development across multiple grade levels. The therapists will collaborate closely with teachers, related service staff, and parents to promote student growth and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct OT services addressing fine motor, sensory processing, gross motor coordination, and functional school skills.
Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, screenings, and progress assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and student needs.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Offer classroom and environmental recommendations to support student success.
Maintain required documentation, service logs, and reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Schedule & Assignment
Full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week
Standard school calendar and school-day schedule
Onsite only
Caseload may include multiple school sites based on organizational needs
Student population may range from early childhood through high school
Qualifications
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Florida OT license required
School-based experience preferred, but clinical experience will be considered
Strong interpersonal skills, documentation accuracy, and ability to collaborate effectively
