A K-12 school in Devils Lake, North Dakota, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an onsite contract position for the current school year. This role involves providing speech and language services to students in a special education setting, supporting their communication needs across a varied caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid North Dakota state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings supporting diverse student populations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite full time, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
