Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support an elementary school setting in Redford, MI. This contract role is designed for a professional with experience working in educational environments, particularly supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech-language therapy to an elementary caseload of approximately 25 students within an ASD setting
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conducting assessments, progress monitoring, and maintaining thorough documentation
- Delivering onsite therapy services three days per week (22 hours total)
Qualifications:
- Active SLP license with full Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Proven experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an ASD or special education environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a multidisciplinary team
