Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving PreK and Elementary students within the Western Region, including Hornell and Bath, NY. This contract role requires providing onsite services in K-12 school settings focused on supporting speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and staff development relevant to speech-language services
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Certification in TSSLD (Teachers of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities)
- Experience working in school settings with PreK and Elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and multidisciplinary teams
Location: Onsite, serving school districts in Hornell and Bath, NY
Duration: Contract through June 25, 2026, beginning November 17, 2025
