Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services through teletherapy to K-12 students within a virtual school setting. The role requires delivering evaluations and therapy sessions primarily in Spanish, supporting bilingual learners from diverse backgrounds. Services will be offered part-time on an as-needed basis, with an expected commitment of two to three evaluations weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct bilingual speech-language evaluations and provide targeted teletherapy interventions for K-12 students.
- Tailor treatment plans to meet the individualized needs of Spanish-speaking students.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to optimize communication outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all licensing and school district requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Virginia.
- Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred; other language skills welcomed.
- Experience delivering teletherapy services in educational settings.
- Familiarity with assessment tools and intervention strategies for school-aged children.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively on a part-time, PRN basis.
Location:
This is a remote position serving students in the Virginia Beach area through virtual teletherapy sessions.
Engagement Details:
- Contract duration: School year through June 16, 2026.
