Occupational Therapist K-12 School Setting San Antonio, TX
This contract opportunity offers Occupational Therapists a chance to deliver comprehensive school-based therapy services in a dynamic K-12 environment. Contract Duration:Current School Year (ASAP through May 21, 2026)
40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services, including treatment and consultations, to students at assigned schools.
- Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, 3 is 3 assessments, and participate in Annual ARD, REED, and FIE meetings.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 41 students in direct service schools and supervise therapy services at five additional elementary campuses, supporting roughly 58 students.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress and functional achievement.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation and compliance with school district standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials.
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy services, particularly in K-12 settings.
- Ability to manage multiple case assignments and provide supervision across various campuses.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain documentation.
- Familiarity with educational evaluations and 3 is 3 eligibility assessments is a plus.
