Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing occupational therapy services within a K-12 school setting, this position offers a comprehensive caseload across multiple schools in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on delivering direct and consultative treatment, completing evaluations, and supervising OT services to support student development and educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students at assigned schools.
- Conduct and complete comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and 3 is 3 evaluations.
- Attend and participate in annual ARD meetings, REEDs, and FIEs.
- Supervise and support occupational therapy services across additional elementary schools.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop tailored intervention plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services and evaluations.
- Manage a total caseload of approximately 99 students, spanning eight schools.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Proven experience providing OT services within a school or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices.
- Ability to multitask and manage and supervise a large caseload efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with school staff, students, and families.
Location:San Antonio, TX (Onsite)
Schedule:Full-time, 40 hours per week, Contract through the current school year ending May 21, 2026.
