School Psychologist Job Duties

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students

Develop and support individualized education programs (IEPs)

Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis support as needed

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success

Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
Federal and State Requirements

Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited university

Active Rhode Island School Psychologist License required

Previous school-based experience preferred
