A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a K-12 virtual school setting. This part-time, as-needed position focuses on delivering teletherapy evaluations, primarily serving Spanish-speaking students throughout the Virginia Beach area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech-language evaluations and teletherapy sessions remotely for K-12 students
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to support student communication goals
- Documenting evaluation results and developing individualized treatment plans
- Utilizing bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, to effectively assess and treat diverse student populations
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Fluency or strong proficiency in Spanish preferred to meet current caseload needs
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery methods
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload on a part-time, PRN basis (approximately 2-3 evaluations weekly)
Location: Virtual services supporting schools in the Virginia Beach area.
Contract term: Immediate start with assignments continuing through mid-June 2026.
