A full-time in-person opportunity is available for a bilingual (English/Spanish) School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic school district within the Chicago area. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, with the potential to serve multiple school sites, providing a varied and enriching professional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and interventions to support student learning and mental health.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services tailored to diverse student needs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive case documentation and comply with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree or higher in Psychology.
- Valid Professional Educators License along with Illinois School Psychologist License.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively support bilingual students.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
