A K-12 school in Shelbyville, IN is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position through the current school year ending May 21, 2026. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 70 special education evaluations annually, providing comprehensive psychoeducational assessments.
- Support student needs by collaborating closely with school staff, families, and district supervisors.
- Participate in monthly team meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations.
- Maintain compliance with special education laws and guidelines.
- Manage responsibilities across three school buildings, ensuring quality service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana license to practice School Psychology is required.
- Experience in psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determination preferred.
- Strong knowledge of special education law, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with families, educators, and administration.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
