Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide occupational therapy services within a K-12 school setting, supporting students' development and participation in educational activities. This full-time, onsite contract position begins December 1, 2025, and concludes May 21, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
Responsibilities include delivering direct therapy, conducting evaluations, and tailoring caseloads to student needs and therapist experience. The role requires collaboration with educators and families to promote positive student outcomes across all grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Active occupational therapy certification/license in New Mexico
- Experience working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Ability to perform evaluations and deliver direct therapy within a school environment
- Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility to adapt caseload based on experience and preferences
