A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within multiple K-12 school settings in Naperville, IL, focusing on students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. This contract position runs through the current school year, offering a chance to work in structured learning environments across various locations.
Location: Multiple schools in the surrounding communities, including Villa Park, Addison, Westmont, and Downers Grove, IL.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in self-contained classrooms within the Structured Learning Environment (SLE) program.
- Support 3-4 classrooms per caseload, with approximately 6-8 students per class.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress, document therapy outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Engage with families and caregivers to support student communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Endorsement.
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License.
- Candidates at various career stages are encouraged to apply, including:
