Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services at an elementary school in Emporia, KS. The role supports students through assessment and intervention, focusing on speech and language development within a school setting. This is a contract position for the current school year, with the assignment lasting until May 20, 2026.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify students needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state licensure requirements
- Deliver services onsite, ensuring direct support to students in the school environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Kansas SLP license required
- Possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working as an SLP in elementary schools or special education settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
- Ability to work full-time or part-time onsite during school hours

- Assignment based in Emporia, KS, with opportunities for candidates residing in North Lyon, Southern Lyon, Chase County, Madison-Virgil, Hamilton, Morris County, or Emporia
