Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for onsite Speech Language Pathologists serving primarily Pre-K caseloads in a K-12 school setting. Two open positions are available for the contract school year from November 8, 2025, through June 12, 2026. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite and licensed in the state of Michigan. Candidates currently in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status may be considered if they hold a temporary Michigan license, with preference given to those who already have an established supervisor.
Location:
- Positions are based in Saginaw, MI, with postings open to candidates in Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit areas.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services primarily to Pre-K students within the school district.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support the communication needs of urban children.
- Address challenges specific to urban student populations and recommend appropriate resources.
- Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation, including university transcripts.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Michigan or CFY with temporary licensure.
- Experience or interest working with urban school populations.
- Strong understanding of speech language development and intervention strategies.
- Ability to work onsite 35 hours per week during the contract term.
- University transcripts will be required to accompany application materials.
