This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students within various school settings in North Las Vegas, NV. Candidates will provide specialized speech and language support across multiple schools under the Clark County School District. This is a contract position lasting through the current school year, with assignments onsite only; no virtual or hybrid options are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through grade 12.
- Assess, plan, and implement treatment based on each student's specific needs and educational goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Adapt caseload and duties as assignments and school locations vary throughout the contract.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active NV Department of Education certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Nevada SLP license.
- Experience working within school settings serving diverse student populations.
- Ability to manage varying caseloads with flexibility in full-time or part-time hours.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and school teams.
Location and Work Hours:
- Positions are based at multiple locations within North Las Vegas, NV, under the Clark County School District.
- Hours vary by assignment; full-time positions are preferred, but part-time may be considered.
- All therapy services must be provided onsite; remote options will not be accepted.
