Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for full-time Bilingual Speech Language Pathologists skilled in English and Spanish, serving K-12 students within a school district in the Chicago area. The position spans multiple school sites and offers a caseload that varies by location, providing a dynamic work environment. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 20, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy services to students in early childhood and elementary settings
- Conducting evaluations and providing itinerant support as needed
- Managing caseloads across up to two school sites with individualized focus based on site needs
- Collaborating with school staff and families to support students communication goals
- Ensuring compliance with district and state educational requirements
Qualifications and experience required:
- IL Professional Educator License with Speech Language Pathologist endorsement
- Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential
- Experience working with children in early childhood and K-12 educational environments preferred
- New graduates (CF level) are considered when supervision can be provided
Work location is on-site only, serving various school sites including early childhood and elementary schools within the district reflecting a flexible and varied placement structure.
