A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting from December 1, 2025, through June 12, 2026. This contract role will help backfill an active caseload in a school district located in Elk Grove, CA. The position requires collaboration in supporting students with speech and language needs, particularly focusing on progress monitoring and providing effective interventions.

Caseload: Approximately 50-65 students
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Valid California Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school-based settings, ideally with K-12 students
- Knowledge of progress monitoring and individualized student intervention planning
- Strong organizational skills to manage a high caseload efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students across all grade levels based on assessment outcomes
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Adjust therapy methods to meet diverse student needs
