A school-based Speech Language Pathologist position is available within a K-12 academic setting in Waynesboro, GA. This contract role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels during the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to support student communication development.
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals.
- Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress.
- Serve multiple school sites, requiring flexibility and travel during the workweek.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working within school settings is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage caseload efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and staff.
Job Details:
- Contract duration through May 29, 2026.
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
- Preference for onsite work with flexibility for a hybrid schedule (three days onsite, two days remote).
