Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist providing telehealth services for K-12 students. This role supports mental health and educational assessments, working closely with educators, families, and students to promote academic success and emotional well-being throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Deliver telehealth counseling and intervention services remotely to support students' mental health and learning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation on student mental health issues
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and comply with all relevant federal and state regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure applicable to K-12 education
- Experience providing telehealth services to students
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills in educational and psychological testing
- Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
- Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse school stakeholders
