A temporary, part-time opportunity exists for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services within a K-12 school program in the Virginia Beach area. This role focuses primarily on Spanish-speaking students and involves conducting evaluations and therapy sessions remotely, supporting a caseload typical of two to three evaluations weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language services to K-12 students
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, focusing on bilingual Spanish-English assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes
- Collaborate with school staff remotely to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school policies
Required Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Virginia
- Fluency in Spanish and English, with experience providing bilingual speech-language services
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
- Strong communication and organizational skills suitable for virtual consultation
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
