Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Union, SC. This contract role is full-time with 37.5 hours per week, providing in-person support to students within a school setting. The successful candidate will work onsite and collaborate closely with educational staff to support speech and language development across grades K-12.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress.
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with state and school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure for the state of South Carolina is required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
- Prior experience working in a school setting strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of K-12 speech-language pathology best practices.
- Ability to manage caseload and coordinate services effectively.
