A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position at an elementary school located in Trona, CA. This role is for the upcoming school year (NSY) and offers the opportunity to support young learners in developing essential communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student evaluations and therapy sessions
- Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed
