A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in teletherapy services within a high school setting in Taft, CA. This full-time role is designed to support a caseload of approximately 55 students with mild to moderate, and some severe, disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy utilizing teletherapy techniques tailored to student needs.
- Manage and support a diverse high school caseload in compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with onsite facilitators provided by the district to ensure effective service delivery.
- Utilize SEIS (Special Education Information System) for documentation and reporting purposes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license is mandatory.
- Proven experience working within California schools.
- Familiarity with SEIS system for managing student records.
- Skilled in telespeech and teletherapy modalities to support remote service needs.
- Ability to adapt therapy plans for students with varying levels of disabilities.
Location and Duration:
- Position is based onsite in Taft, CA at a high school.
- Contract duration covers the entire school year.
