A Speech Language Pathologist is sought to serve a K-12 school in Huntersville, NC, for the current school year under a full-time contract position. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech and language services to students primarily in elementary and middle school settings.
Responsibilities include providing direct therapy to students, conducting evaluations to assess speech and language needs, and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student progress. This position requires onsite presence Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, to collaborate effectively with school staff and ensure continuity of care.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials
- Valid licensure or eligibility to practice in a school setting
- Experience working within K-12 educational environments, preferably with a caseload spanning elementary and middle school students
- Ability to conduct evaluations, write detailed IEPs, and implement evidence-based therapy interventions
