Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers a contract role covering a leave in a K-12 educational setting located in Cullman, AL. The opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 grades.
- Assess and evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on assessments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings.
- Strong understanding of speech-language disorders in children.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
