Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to serve as a School Psychologist within a K-12 public school setting in the Virginia Beach area. The role requires full-time, on-site work supporting elementary students with psychological testing, evaluations, and participation in key meetings such as ARD, re-evaluation, and IEP discussions. The contract runs through June 16, 2026, with the start date as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments for elementary-aged students.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families during ARD, reevaluation, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Provide recommendations to support student learning and well-being based on evaluation results.
- Maintain compliance with state licensure and DOE certification requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid State Licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Active Department of Education certification.
- Strong skills in assessment, data analysis, and consultation within a school setting.
- Ability to work on-site throughout the contract period (no remote or hybrid options available).
- Open to both experienced professionals and new graduates eager to contribute in this role.
Location: Virginia Beach Area, Virginia (on-site required)
This position supports a student population within a structured school day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Caseload varies according to assignment and is currently under review. Part-time and full-time candidates are encouraged to apply.
