A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Thermal, CA. This contract opportunity spans the current school year (CSY) and focuses on delivering both direct and indirect speech therapy to students with moderate to severe needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy and in-person therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with onsite contracted paraprofessional facilitators to support therapy services.
- Manage a caseload of students requiring moderate to severe speech and language interventions.
- Utilize appropriate assessment and treatment strategies to promote student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active California Teaching Credential (CTC) in Speech-Language Pathology with a current Certificate of Clearance (COC) obtained through fingerprinting.
- Experience delivering speech therapy services in K-12 educational settings, including teletherapy.
- Ability to work full-time hours (40 hours per week) for the duration of the contract.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with facilitators and school personnel.
- Experience managing moderate to severe caseloads.
