A 12-week contract position is available for a Physical Therapist to provide services in a K-12 school setting focused on a diverse group of students. This full-time role involves working directly with a caseload of 26 students, ages 3 to 21, presenting with a range of disabilities. The position is located in Menasha, WI, supporting various school locations within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and educational goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with established protocols and timelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights regarding physical therapy goals and services
- Adapt therapy techniques to various school environments and student age groups
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant state licensure
- Experience working in pediatric or educational settings preferred
- Familiarity with a range of disabilities affecting children and adolescents
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a moderate caseload effectively
Location: Menasha, Wisconsin (services provided across multiple elementary, middle, and high schools)
