Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students. This role involves providing specialized speech therapy services within a school setting and may include teletherapy sessions as part of the responsibilities. The position is based in Sterling Heights, MI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both in-person and via teletherapy.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Ability to provide teletherapy services effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based speech and language therapy techniques.
