A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support student communication needs within a school setting in Papillion, NE. This position involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to students, traveling between multiple school sites as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Travel between schools to deliver services as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in educational settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language pathology assessment and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and responsibilities effectively.
- Willingness and ability to travel between school locations.
