A skilled Occupational Therapist is needed to provide specialized therapy services within a school setting in Dublin, OH. This role involves working directly with students to support their physical, sensory, and cognitive development, helping them achieve greater independence and success in the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students abilities and create individualized therapy plans tailored to their needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Provide direct hands-on therapy and interventions to students with various physical, sensory, or developmental challenges
- Document progress and participate in meetings to discuss student performance and update goals
- Travel locally to different school sites as needed to deliver services
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license or certification
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational or clinical settings
- Knowledge of educational frameworks and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness and ability to travel between schools within the assigned area
