Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide occupational therapy services in a dynamic school environment supporting students' developmental and functional needs. This role is based in Mentor, OH, with travel required to multiple school locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy assessments and interventions to address students fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to supportive learning environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state
- Experience working in school settings providing OT services
- Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and educational regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to travel between various school locations
