Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An occupational therapist position is available to provide essential support within school settings. This role involves working directly with students to develop and improve their motor skills, enhance daily functional abilities, and support their educational success. The position requires travel to various school locations within the Fargo, ND area, allowing for a dynamic and varied work environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing and evaluating students occupational therapy needs
- Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Documenting student progress and maintaining appropriate records
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Traveling to multiple schools as needed within the assigned area
