A School Psychologist position is available in Esko, MN, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This role involves working collaboratively with school staff, students, and families to support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and provide evaluations to identify student strengths and needs.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Offer counseling and intervention strategies to support student mental health.
- Consult with teachers and administrators on behavioral management and academic strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to promote a positive school environment.
- Facilitate communication between students, families, and school personnel.
- Travel between school sites as required to provide services.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Appropriate licensure or certification to practice in the state of Minnesota.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and interventions within school settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and collaborate as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as part of job responsibilities.
