A school district in Center, ND is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support student academic and emotional development. This role involves working closely with educators, families, and students to provide psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention services in a school setting. The position requires traveling between multiple school sites to deliver services where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs and develop appropriate support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to design interventions promoting student well-being and academic success
- Provide individual and group counseling services addressing behavioral and emotional challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust recommendations as necessary
- Travel between schools to ensure consistent and timely service delivery
