Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support student success and well-being. This position is based in Ozark, MO, with travel required between local schools to provide comprehensive psychological services within educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, social, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students exhibiting behavioral or emotional challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress and foster inclusive learning environments
- Offer consultation and training to school staff on mental health topics, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies
- Monitor and report on student outcomes, adjusting support plans as necessary
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing tools and assessment techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Willingness and ability to travel between schools within the service area
