A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the current school year, serving K-12 students in the Richmond, VA area. This contract role starts in January and runs through late May, offering a dynamic and rewarding environment supporting a diverse caseload of students across various ages.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students across multiple schools.
- Collaborate with onsite facilitators and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support student goals.
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and progress with educators and families.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Virginia license to practice as an SLP.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to manage various caseloads and coordinate with support staff.
Location: Richmond, VA (Henrico County Public Schools; specific school assignments to be determined)
