This opportunity seeks a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (English and Spanish) to provide comprehensive support for K-12 students in a Texas school district. The role operates as part of the districts evaluation team with a focus on delivering speech-language services across multiple campuses. This is a full-time, contract position for the current school year.
Location: Mesquite, Texas
Assignment Type: Contract, full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Schedule: 7.5 hour days with one remote day per week (hybrid)
Duration: January 5, 2026 May 28, 2026
Caseload: Itinerant, covering several schools with an office base at the Student Support Center
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students across assigned campuses
- Collaborate with district staff as part of the evaluation team
- Utilize district resources including test kits, technology, and communication systems
- Deliver services in both English and Spanish to meet student needs
- Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment and communication skills
