Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Virtual School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to Louisiana students across all grade levels. This fully remote role includes assessment, consultation, intervention, and ongoing support for students with diverse academic, behavioral, and emotional needs. The ideal candidate will excel in virtual service delivery and work collaboratively with school teams and families.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct virtual or hybrid psychoeducational evaluations for students with Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI), including assessments related to ADHD, in accordance with Louisiana regulations and teleassessment guidelines.

Provide direct virtual psychological services, including counseling, skill-building, and evidence-based intervention support.

Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), collaborating with on-site personnel as needed to gather data.

Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, service providers, and families to support student success across all grade levels.

Participate in IEP/ARD meetings virtually and ensure adherence to Louisiana state requirements, district procedures, and best practices for remote service delivery.

Support the development of safe, supportive, and effective learning environments for students across diverse backgrounds and needs.
Requirements

Must hold an active psychology license in both:

The state in which the applicant resides, and
-
The state of Louisiana (e.g., Licensed Specialist in School Psychology or equivalent credential permitting school psychological services in Louisiana).
Demonstrated experience in psychoeducational assessment, behavioral supports, and service delivery for AU, ED, and OHI populations.
Strong communication, organization, documentation, and collaboration skills in a virtual environment.
Ability to manage a virtual caseload effectively.
Familiarity with telepractice requirements, ethical standards, and confidentiality when working remotely with students and educational teams.
