Blazer Jobs is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented School Psychologist to support a parentally placed private school team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a very part-time, flexible assignment ideal for professionals local to Jacksonville (hybrid option) or for experienced School Psychologists located elsewhere in Florida (fully remote option).
Position Overview
You will support the districts private school team across a range of responsibilities, including referral meetings, eligibility determinations, and interpreting evaluation results for staff and families. The caseload spans K12 students, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and accurate assessment guidance.
Schedule Structure
If Hybrid (Local Candidates):

1 day Virtual multidisciplinary or eligibility meetings

1 day In-person evaluations (scheduled at district office; no travel to private school)

1 day Office/report-writing (virtual or in office)
If Fully Virtual (Statewide FL Candidates):
Key Responsibilities

Participate in referral and eligibility meetings

Interpret evaluation data clearly for both staff and parents

Assist with IEP development when needed (role is primarily assessment-focused)
