Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available to support elementary students in grades K-5, focusing on psychological testing, evaluations, and participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. This role involves working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and testing for elementary school students.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expert guidance on student needs and accommodations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to support educational success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines.
- Support both onsite and virtual service delivery, with a preference for providers able to work onsite.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Certification or licensure as a school psychologist in the state or eligibility to obtain it.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (grades K-5) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing tools and IEP processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, accommodating both virtual and in-person requirements.
